Tim Ray

I fell in love with cars as a teenager. In high school I owned a Camaro that I kept dreaming of fixing up. Unfortunately that never happened as it was simply out of the price range of a kid who delivered pizzas. College came and I took a break from cars to concentrate on my studies and after that, on finding work. It wasn’t until 2005 that I rediscovered cars when my wife talked me into buying my first Corvette; a 2002 electron blue C5 Z06. For my birthday that same year Sheri gave me a gift certificate to The Drivers Edge, a high performance driving school. It was a weekend that changed my life.

Since then I’ve won the NASA Texas Region TTA Time Trial Championship twice in tough competition. Won my class at NARRA  and twice won the NASA Summer Shoot out in Hallet.

For the past five years I’ve started been instructing and coaching. I teach with The Drivers Edge, Texas World Speedway’s Performance Driving School. Texas Lamborghini Club and NASA where I was awarded national instructor status. I also have private students as well.
